loved our light & bright spacious room, the great porch, and the courtyard. mia, the manager, was excellent. historic home renovated perfectly as a boutique hotel, drinks by the fire pit, cool lobby, and amazing breakfast. outstanding location on main street.

Every time I visit Edgartown, I choose this stunningly beautiful hotel in a nice building. The location is fabulous, right by the Old Whaling Church, and just a 5-minute walk from a bus stop. The staff are excellent and truly deserve a 3-star rating. I love that breakfast is served in the lobby – so convenient!

We had a great time at The Richard in Edgartown. The hotel's location is stunning, right in downtown and close to the bus stop for traveling around the island. Our double room was beautiful and modern, and the bathroom was well-equipped with a shower, hair dryers, and bathrobes for our convenience. Plus, it was only a short walk from the Eisenhauer Gallery.

There were no laundry facilities available. the room was a bit smaller than we expected, which made it a bit uncomfortable for two people to move around in.
